Making Studio Photography Available where you want it.
Very early on I knew I wanted to make Studio Photography available on the high street and one day I just thought that where people go to meet friends and family was going to be the perfect location.
I set out to chat with local cafe and eatery owners and that’s where ‘Gemma’s Famous Pop Up Studio’ was created, since then there has been hundreds of Pop Ups and thousands of happy memories created.
I love to travel so there will be a sprinkle of my experiences around the world on here and I hope it helps you choose a great holiday when we can travel and holiday with friends and family again.
Pop Ups so far
I am always amazed with these numbers and I feel that every number has made somebody smile which makes me happy.
Since being back open I have been inundated with such a variety of professional photography jobs from corporate headshots, a DJ’s press release headshots, cake smash shoots for the beautiful Orla’s 1st birthday, a holy communion at St Anthony of Padua Rc Church, a christening, newborn/family shoots and of course my famous Pop Up’s.
I wanted to get back out and meet people and was delighted to take my 9 month old nephew James to Lauras amazing Moo Music class, he’s definitely got rhythm in his bones and thoroughly enjoyed it! Collaborating with Laura at Moo Rooms has been fantastic, I love running my Pop Up’s at her Moo Music venue, check out her website to book one of her super duper music classes :
Nicola who runs baby yoga hosted a fabulous class, I enjoyed it as much as James did! Thanks Nicola you’re a star at running this class, I can’t recommend you enough.
Yay I survived lockdown!!
I’m so excited and ecstatic to be writing this and updating you all with the good news that I have reopened my doors today. I really can’t wait to welcome you all back to my first pop up on Sunday 18th April at Moo Rooms. I’ve been overwhelmed with the amount of bookings I have and can’t wait to be back behind my camera doing what I love. Creating those precious moments and documenting them is so important for us all. I still have available slots on my pop ups so please check out the dates and contact me to book in. See you all soon!
Easter Pop Up
I really missed running my Easter pop up this year but behind the scenes I was lucky enough to be able to capture the cutest little bunny James, my nephew! Here’s some of the best photos I wanted to share with you all.
First Cake Smash 2021
My cake smash photo shoots are so much fun for all and didn’t Bobby have the best time devouring the big chocolate cake that got put in front of him! Bath time and bubbles always brings out the smiles and I just had to share his excitement of cake
Recent Photo Pop Up Studio’s Liverpool
It was so lovely to meet new people in 2020 and the Photography Pop Up’s seemed to have an extra special meaning where families could celebrate their ‘something memory’ for what was a difficult year.
Pop Up & Home Studio
As if like magic children have that special moment or person they want to be, I think they can teach us all how to escape the hum drum of our recent times and enjoy the moment right here and now. Images are a daily reminder of good times and we should celebrate them more often.
Pop Up Dates for 2021
I have some exciting news regarding venues and dates for 2021 and you can check them out in the link below.

Escape to come back refreshed
If you are anything like me then you will be surfing the news and the net to find a glimmer of hope for safe travel for a holiday, I get absorbed by my work because I love photographing people so an escape to somewhere warm forces me to stop and step into a world of relaxation but I come back eager to get that first Pop up shoot underway and see plenty of happy smiles in my camera.
Lets hope we can experience some normality soon.
I hope you have enjoyed looking through my ‘Blog’ featuring my Pop Up’s, Home and Location shoots, Cake Smash and Newborn shoots and lots more!
I had so much fun going into peoples homes and creating special memories for many families.
The children really enjoyed the Christmas and Easter Pop Up’s. They looked fabulous all dressed up and I captured fantastic images making more ever important keepsakes which can be shared with family and friends during lockdown.
