What makes a great headshot?

To be noticed and to stand out from the crowd is what a fantastic headshot will do!  

It will grab the viewers attention and in that split second will show your character, personality and look in your own unique way.

The perfect headshot consists of many components, lighting, lens selection, expression, style, clothing, composition…the list goes on!  

My reputation in making people feel relaxed and reassured is what helps me get such great and professional images. I can connect and understand what a client wants from their photoshoot, making them feel confident but more importantly it allows them to enjoy the experience.

The Photo Session

It’s great to find out what you are about and what you are looking for so a phone consultation or coffee meet to discuss initial ideas is always welcome.

Is it a corporate headshot, a profile photo for social media or are you an actor and wanting headshots for an audition?  

The next thing to consider is where would you like the shoot, would you like it to be studio based or out on location (this can be at your office) or both?  Would you like a white/grey/black backdrop? All the best images can be subtly edited to make you look fresh and glowing.  Nothing too drastic or over the top will be applied.  I always keep my images natural, this can be discussed when we meet.
